High Pressure Floating Pneumatic Rubber Fender which is made of synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber sheet with compressed air inside, at initial pressure of 50 kPa or 80 kPa, to enable it to float on the water and work as a shock absorber between two ships, or between ships and berthing structures when they come alongside each other on the water.


High-pressure fender types
High-pressure fender types are defined as follows:
a) Type I — Net-type;
b) Type I Single — Net-type and one end with no flange opening and no metal parts.
c) Type II — Sling-type.

Initial internal pressures are defined as follows:
